Sweet, Sweet Memories!!!

This is my first blog, so bear with me!



This past summer my mom, my aunt, and I went to 4 country concerts. yes, i LOVE country!! so im gonna do my best to decride them to you all.



Well the 1st concert was Brad Paisley. i was looking forward to him singing one of my favorite songs by him called 'im still a guy'. i got all worked up and excited to be at a concert again, but the concert was a let down. I didn't lose my voice, but i didn't hate the thing. it was just ok. not very much to descibe about it. It was like wanting to eat a warm, sweet, buttery cinamin roll, but
finding it was only luke warm; do you get it? the next one was ten times better!



The 2nd concert was the legendary Tim McGraw. he's cute huh? i think so! Anyway.... His concert was great! i knew most of his songs and i love his older ones. Jason Aldean came with him but i didn't know any of his songs except 'laughed till we cried'. all three of us stood up and cheered the whole time. it was a bundle of joy!:o) the only thing that rained on our parade was the group in front of us. There was two guys and two girls; my guess is they were in thier early-mid twenties. i kept admiring one of the girls shirt, it was really cute! it was plaid green, and she had a white beater on under it. Before the concerted started, i oversaw the two couples gulp down shots that one of thier friends bought them. that was round one. By the middle of Tim's act, the lady with the pretty shirt had drunken 3 large margaritas and she had 2 shots!! She looked fine and was enjoying herself dancing with her boyfriend. He twirled and twirled her and she fell ontop of like three people!!everyone was getting fed up with her and one lady even pushed her down! i was like HOLY COW!!! I guess the twirling and twirling mixed with the tripping was just to much for her guts to take. Within like 5 min she was puking her brains out!! It was DISGUTING!!! ewww eww ewwww!!! that was alittle on the extreme side!! Everyone around us was gaging and dry-heaving. ughhh!! i think we were the only ones who thought that it was pretty darn halarious!!! i couldnt stop laughing and feeling soryy for the gal....haha!!

The 3rd concert was brooks and dunn with my husband Ridney Atkins!!(not really but a girl can wish right?!!) My hubby did great and i sang with him and me and my concert-going-group made a music video for 'Going through Hell'!! that was a load of fun!! Brooks and Dunn did good too and we sang and sang with them too! you know thier song boot scooten' booggie? When they played that song i danced the acuall dance while everyone stared at me trip over myself!! it was fun but imbarrasing!! the "dancefloor" was on a hill so when i was going backwards down hill, i had to lean over and would've flashed everybody if it wasn't for my faithful husbands shirt i was wearing! that goodness huh!! they would've had nightmares!!lol just kiddin!!! After Brooks and Dunn, ZZ TOP came on but we didnt know any of thier songs so we went out to a college -hole-in-the-wall resturate and had cinnamin rolls and Orange Juice!! MMMMMM.....


Last but defently not least, The Toby Keith concert!!! This was the one that we were all anicipating!! it was the grand slam; the center of the cinnamin roll; the big kaboom; the whole enchilada!! ahhhhh, it was amazing how excited we all were!!! With toby keith was, kakumm: Trailer choir, Charters Chord, Mika Roberts, and(my personal favorite jump starters) Mongomery Gentry!! Me and Mongomery Genrtry go way way back...acually they were the first concert performers that i ever went to!! ahhhh...good times!! me and my best friend Shelbie's theme song it 'gone' by them. have you guys ever heard it? Its a great song!! anyway when they sang it, i was dancing and screaming while everyone else was sitting down and embarassed. Why be embarrased? Its was a once in a lifetime event!! Anywhoooo!!....
When toby keithe came on i was worried i wouldnt have enought energy to enjoy him as much as i did last year when i saw him. Yeah right!! i felt like i couldn't control my feet or arms!! they were waving and steping and leading my hip to go in a wierd motion!! i felt like a drunk monkey!! It was B-E-A-utiful!!!! lol
I have to say, my favorite song by Him is 'wanna talk about me'! what a great song huh!! i sang and sang and screamed and screamed when it came on!! by The end of the night i was sweating like crazy and my whole body from head to toe was sore!! But it was defenetly worth it!! YEAHH!!! TOBY! I LOVE YOU! WHEEWW!!
